How to combine JPG images into a PDF

  1. Drop one or more image files into the box above (or click to browse).
  2. Choose your page size — A4 and Letter are the most common.
  3. Pick orientation, then click Create PDF.

When to use this

Combining images into a PDF is useful for emailing a stack of receipts as one attachment, submitting scanned documents to government portals, or creating a quick photo deck for sharing. PDF keeps the order, makes the file portable, and reduces total size compared to attaching multiple JPGs.

How JPG-to-PDF conversion works

Drop one or more JPEG (or PNG, WebP) images and the tool combines them into a single PDF. Each image becomes one page. Choose the output page size (A4, Letter, or fit-to-image), orientation (auto/portrait/landscape), and image fitting (fit/fill/stretch). The PDF is generated in your browser using pdf-lib.

Common Indian use cases

Page-size and fit options

A4 (210 × 297 mm) is standard in India and most of the world. Letter (8.5 × 11 inches) is US standard. Fit to image creates a PDF page that exactly matches each image's dimensions — useful when you want pixel-precise output without white margins. Fit mode preserves aspect ratio with white margins; Fill mode fills the page (cropping if needed); Stretch distorts to exact fit.

Disclaimer

The PDF is created with embedded JPEG images at full original quality. File size is roughly the sum of input image sizes plus a small PDF overhead. For very large output PDFs (over 10 MB), consider running the result through Compress PDF afterward.

FAQ

Is there a limit on the number of images?

Up to 20 images per conversion in this version. Each image is capped at 10 MB.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser using pdf-lib.

Can I reorder the pages?

Remove an image from the list using the × button and re-add it in the order you want.

Frequently asked questions

What image formats can I convert to PDF?

JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg), PNG (.png), and WebP (.webp). HEIC files from iPhone need to be converted to JPEG first using your phone's share sheet or a HEIC converter.

How many images can I combine into one PDF?

The tool handles up to 50 images per PDF on modern hardware. Each image typically becomes one page. For larger batches, split into multiple PDFs and merge them with our Merge PDF tool.

Will image quality be preserved?

Yes. The images are embedded into the PDF at their original resolution and quality. The PDF doesn't re-compress them. If your input images are already optimised, the PDF will use them as-is.

What page size should I choose?

A4 for documents intended for reading, fit-to-image for photo galleries or scans where you don't want white margins. A4 is the Indian standard; Letter is US.

Can I add multiple images to one PDF page?

This tool puts one image per page. For multi-image-per-page layouts, use a graphic design tool like Canva first, then convert the result.
